He has ultrasound credentials as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS). He has contributed 5 chapters in the book “Healthy Veins … Healthy Legs” published by the American College of Phlebology. He has authored 6 books on venous disease with Dr Raffy Karamanoukian. Raffy L Karamanoukian MD FACS is board certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM). He is the Co Edits the highly acclaimed book published by the American College of Phlebology called “Healthy Veins … Healthy Legs”. Dr. Raffy is also coauthor of 6 additional books for patients with venous disease and these boos are available as ebooks for his patients. Dr. Raffy has also contributed over 100 questions to the website www.PhlebologyReview.com  which prepares candidates to take the examination to become certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He has also been featured by The Doctors TV Show for his expertise in foam sclerotherapy and enjoys taking care of a large international clientele in his boutique practice in Santa Monica, CA.
 
Combined, our two physicians have performed over 45,000 endovenous ablation procedures (VNUS Closure, EVLT, EVLA, ClariVein) and over 10,000 microphlebectomy procedures.
